Episode 103: Spaghetti with Meat Marinara
Posted on 13. Mar, 2009 by Sue in Dinner
Sue takes the ground beef and Italian sausage meat mixture from Episode 102 and adds it to the Red Wine Marinara from Episode 101 to make a delicious Spaghetti with meat marinara.
Recipe
For Meat Sauce
This recipe uses 1/3 of the meat mixture from Episode 102.
Take a large skillet and place 2 Tbs of olive oil with 1 clove of crushed fresh garlic. Heat the pan on medium heat and break up the meat into the pan. Stir until brown, strain off any excess oil and then add to marinara sauce.
*When making pasta always make sure the water is boiling and add salt before putting pasta in.

Hi Sue, loved your recipe. I have never seen the meat added to the sauce, cooking the sauce in a slow cooker is a great idea, will have to try it. I have a busy lifestyle but like to come home and cook and your recipe could be just the thing to prepare. Thank you
