About
Welcome to Simply Cooking With Sue!

Sue Andrew
I have always enjoyed food preparation and presentation. So when I was 18, I decided to start my own catering business. Soon after I married a high school football coach and had three wonderful children. Then I re-entered the work force, where I was able to work my way up to being a national marketing director. I found my catering experience came in handy whether I was asked, to put together large and elaborate cocktail party for my work, a booster club party for parents of the team, or even team meals which I made on a regular basis.
No matter what the task I had at hand I always want to have a hot meal on the table for my family each night. It’s not always easy. So I developed “short cuts” to not only save time, but money as well. I was making easy, delicious, and great looking meals. My friends refer to me as a gourmet chef, however I never like cared for that title.
I have always shared my recipes with family and friends. When they make my recipes their response to me is always the same, “I can’t believe how simple that was.”
And so I want to share some of these recipes with you!
Enjoy! And have fun cooking!

I've worked with Sue in the production field for a long time now. She is probably the single kindest and most generous person I know. And she's been instrumental to the growth of my career.
On a commercial set one day, she explained how she created all the food at the craft services table - I was floored over how remarkably inexpensive and simple her techniques were. Especially considering they looked amazing. So wee discussed doing a web series. One thing led to another and that's how "Simply Cooking With Sue" came along.
The focus of the show and site is simplicity. From food preparation to production - everything should be simple. We shoot in a REAL kitchen with one camera and one light - that's it. We let the camera roll and watch what happens. Editing is kept simple and clean.
But just because its simple, doesn't mean it can't look great too. That's one thing Sue really demonstrates in the show! And as the consumer of a lot of the food that comes out of the show, let me tell you it tastes GREAT as well.
Simple and great food - what's not to love?
We hope you enjoy the shows and the site! Please pass the word along to all your friends about our site!
Thank you!
